DOT physical
Commercial motor vehicle drivers need a DOT medical exam to get or keep their medical certificate. Many urgent care and occupational health clinics do them, but the exam has to be done by a certified medical examiner.
Who can do it
Only a medical examiner listed on the FMCSA National Registry can perform a DOT physical. Before you go, confirm the clinic has a certified examiner on site that day.
