Immigration medical exam (I-693)
Most people applying for a green card from inside the U.S. need a medical exam recorded on USCIS Form I-693. It has to be done by a USCIS-designated civil surgeon, and not every urgent care has one.
Who can do it
Only a USCIS-designated civil surgeon can complete Form I-693. Use the USCIS locator to find one, then call to confirm availability.
